Thanksgiving

How quickly this year has gone by. The holiday season is upon us and with that, a time of reflection.

This year was the beginning of offering card making classes for me. Met with much trepidation, I soon learned that because I had a very supportive community of friends (old and new), I could successfully hold classes and share my passion of cardmaking. It was a step forward I should have taken much sooner. Monthly classes are the norm along with meeting new students that have become friends. It’s growing. I’m actually doing this.

I am especially thankful this year for this new season in my life. A time of growth where doubt became growing confidence, and I stepped out of my comfort zone. There’s several people that pushed me, to whom I am very grateful.

As we give thanks this Thursday, among the obvious things, let’s be thankful for the sparks of courage that are within us - the ones that self-doubt try to extinguish. Let’s be especially thankful for those who won’t let that spark be diminished and encourage us.

Thank you, my card making friends. You bet on a dark horse who’s now chomping at the bit to do more.

Wishing you a season of gratitude, now and always.

Wendy
